Our collection features handcrafted details. Each garment is carefully crafted over 3-4 days, combining traditional techniques with quality construction to ensure durability.

4. Will linen wrinkle, and is that normal?

Yes, linen naturally wrinkles, which is part of its charm and relaxed aesthetic. The wrinkles soften with wear and add to the fabric's character and premium quality.

Wash Care & Maintenance

1. How do I care for my Saphed linen pieces?

We recommend gentle machine wash or hand wash in cold water. Hang dry or tumble dry on low. Iron while slightly damp for best results. Detailed care instructions are included with each garment.

2. Should I pre-wash new linens before using?

Yes, always pre-wash new linens before using. The first soak is vital to enhance linen's beauty, settle its threads, and prolong its life. Fully unfold your Saphed linen and use a mild liquid detergent, less than the quantity you usually employ. Please note: use of a fabric softener is not advisable as it weakens natural fibres. Much like your heart, linen will soften naturally over time.

3. How should I wash my linen garments?

Always segregate your dark linens from your light ones. Pre-treat stains before washing. Do not bleach. Wash in a gentle warm water cycle and finish off with a cold water rinse.

4. What's the best way to dry linen?

Natural fibres like linen are delicate, so drying on a clothesline is best. If using a machine dryer, gently shake out and smooth damp linens before placing in the dryer and set to the lowest heat.

5. When should I iron my linen pieces?

It is advisable to take your Saphed linens out of the dryer while still damp and then iron. Spray headstrong wrinkles with water, if required.

6. How should I store my linen garments?

Linen needs to breathe, so say no to plastic bags and boxes. Store in a dry, cool ventilated area and for long term storage, wrap in muslin cloth.

Saphed Scents

1. What materials are used in your candles?

Our candles are crafted with pure plant oils and high quality wax to ensure a clean, long-lasting burn and natural scent throw.

2. How are your Scents products packaged?

All Scents products are thoughtfully packaged to ensure they arrive safely and make perfect gifts. Our packaging reflects our commitment to quality and aesthetic appeal, with attention to sustainable materials where possible.

3. How long do your candles burn?

Burn time varies by candle size. Specific burn time information is provided on each product page to help you choose the right candle for your needs.

4. Are your Scents products suitable for gifting?

Absolutely! Our Scents collection is beautifully packaged and makes an excellent gift for any occasion. The premium presentation and quality fragrances create a thoughtful, luxurious gift experience.

5. How should I care for my candles?

For best results, trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first burn, and avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time.

Sizing & Fit

1. How do I choose the right size?

Please refer to our size charts available on each product page. Our jackets, kaftans, and kurta sets include detailed measurements to help you find your perfect fit.

2. Are your pieces true to size?

Our garments are usually relaxed fit. If you're between sizes or prefer a looser fit, we recommend sizing up.

3. Can I request alterations?

Yes! If you've written to us with your product sizes for alteration, please allow an additional 5 working days to deliver your order.

Shipping & Delivery

1. How long does shipping take within India?

Each Saphed piece is handcrafted in our workshop in Mumbai once your order is placed. Please allow us 3-4 days to make your order, after which it will be dispatched. Standard delivery will take between 10-15 business days.

2. Can I get expedited shipping in India?

Yes! Ordering for a specific occasion or need a time-bound delivery? Reach out to us with your order number and delivery date so we can prioritise your order and express ship it at an additional charge. 3. Are taxes and duties included in the price for Indian orders?

Yes, all taxes and duties are included in the displayed prices for orders within India.

4. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship across the globe. International order delivery will take between 15-20 business days. Each Saphed piece is made-to-order, so please allow us 3-4 days to craft your garment before dispatch.

5. How are customs and duties handled for international orders?

For international deliveries, products are shipped on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. This means the listed prices exclude import duties, customs fees, and local taxes. The recipient is responsible for these charges, which vary by country and must be paid for the order to be delivered.

6. Can I get expedited international shipping?

7. Can I track my order?

Yes, you'll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

1. Can I cancel my order after placing it?

No, we do not accept order cancellations for any reason once an order is placed, as we begin handcrafting your piece immediately.

2. Can Saphed cancel my order?

We reserve the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet our standards. Should we exercise this right, you will receive a full refund via the original payment method in 7-10 business days.

3. What is your exchange policy?

If you're unhappy with your purchase, we will find a solution for you. Saphed products can be exchanged within 15 days of delivery for another size or product of the same or higher value. Products must be returned in good condition with all original labels intact. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for the safe delivery back to Saphed, and we suggest using a trusted courier service with tracking. Products once exchanged will no longer be returnable.

4. Are there any items that cannot be exchanged?

Yes, the following items are not eligible for exchange:

  • Discounted items and sale products
  • Custom altered items
5. What is your policy on international returns and exchanges?

We are unable to accept returns on international orders. This is mainly due to garments getting stuck at customs and the unreasonable delays and expectations this creates. We encourage you to get alterations done locally, which is often quicker, more practical, and gentler on the carbon footprint.

For international exchanges, customers will need to ship the product back to us at their own expense, and will be responsible for any duties, customs, or handling charges associated with the return. Once we receive the returned item in good condition, we will dispatch the new piece to you. As a small brand, we're unable to absorb these additional costs and hope for your understanding. The same exchange conditions apply (within 15 days, good condition, labels intact).

6. Who pays for return shipping on exchanges?

For domestic exchanges, please contact our customer care team at customercare@saphed.com for return shipping instructions. For international exchanges, customers are responsible for return shipping costs and duties.

7. What about sale items?

All items in any sale are not eligible for any exchange of size or style, return or refund and will be delivered in 10 to 15 days.

Items purchased before the Sale period and previously issued Credit Notes cannot be exchanged for Sale items.

8. What if I'm not satisfied with the quality?

At Saphed, we do our best to provide the finest quality of products. Like most natural textiles, our fabrics are not guaranteed against natural wear, abrasion, stretch, shrinkage, fading, or dye-lot variations.
